The Spanish La Liga matchday 6 finally wrapped up yesterday after several matches were played in the competition this week. Some teams had a brilliant day at the office as they did really well in ensuring that they secured maximum points from their various matches.
We also have to give full credit to some players that performed brilliantly in aiding their team's wins in the competition this week.
Well, in today's article I will be sharing my La Liga team of the week so kindly stay tuned.
Goalkeeper: Matias Dituro (Celta Vigo).
Argentine International, Matias Dituro was brilliant in goal for Celta Vigo when they faced Levante on Tuesday. The 34-year-old made crucial saves in the match and he also kept an important clean sheet.
Centre Backs: Aritz Elustondo (Real Sociedad) and Kike Hermoso (Real Betis).
Aritz Elustondo was a goalscoring defender for Real Sociedad in the Spanish La Liga this week as he scored two goals against Granada. The 27-year-old was also well composed in defence for Real Sociedad. Kike Hermoso scored a goal for Real Betis and also defended well against Osasuna yesterday.
Wing Backs: Javi Galan (Celta Vigo) and Iza (Cadiz)
Javi Galan and Isaac Carcelén were both brilliant for their various clubs in the La Liga this week as they performed brilliantly playing at Wing back positions.
Midfielders: Vinicius Jnr, Marcos Asensio (Real Madrid), Mikel Merino (Real Sociedad) and Erik Lamela (Sevilla).
Vinicius Jnr provided an assist for Real Madrid this week as he performed brilliantly against Mallorca. His teammate Marcos Asensio scored a hattrick against his former club Mallorca as he was fantastic for Real Madrid this week. Mikel Merino scored a goal for Real Sociedad against Granada as he made his way into our team with an outstanding performance. Erik Lamela had an assist to his name when Sevilla defeated Valencia 3-1 on Wednesday.
Forwards: Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) and Luis Suarez (Atletico Madrid).
Karim Benzema features after an astonishing performance against Mallorca. The Frenchman scored two goals and provided an assist for Real Madrid this week as his performance was top notch. Luis Suarez also scored two goals this week as he helped Atletico Madrid to defeat Getafe 2-1 on Tuesday.
