Check Out New Photos Of Arsenal Stars In Training

Arsenal were observed training at London Colney yesterday in preparation for their match against Brighton this weekend. It's amazing how much a few weeks can change things.

With a full squad and an advantageous schedule, Arsenal might be on the verge of reaching their highest point in almost a year. Last season, the team went on a five-game winning streak, but it came with the knowledge that it would finish in eighth place. Arsenal also went six games without losing last winter, but the upheaval and lack of squad depth made even those results feel fragile.

Mikel Arteta has had the best squad to work with at Arsenal so far. Five wins in their previous six games have propelled them into the top half of the table, and they have dominated their opponents. Brighton Hove Albion were near the top of the Premier League going into this game.

The Seagulls are just a point behind Liverpool, having defeated Leicester City. Their scoring problems from last season have not returned, and they will put Arsenal to the test on the road, so Arteta will need his team to be completely focused on this match, despite the high of defeating Spurs in style.

Because Xhaka is injured, Sambi Lokonga, who was also sighted in training, may start against Brighton. Xhaka will not require surgery, according to the club, although he is anticipated to be out for a few months. As a result, Albert Sambi Lokonga should make his fourth Premier League start in what is shaping out to be a lot more engaged season, at least as a starter, than we might have anticipated at the start. His previous performances indicate that he will be up to the challenge against Brighton and in the months ahead as Xhaka recovers.
