7 Super Eagles Players Who Featured In The UEFA Europa League On Thursday

The Europa league and the Conference league came alive on Thursday night with 30 exciting fixtures on offer in the two European clubsides competitions.

Nigerian Super Eagles player's weren't left out in the exciting fixture's in th Europa League and in the Conference league l, some cruised to victory with their clubs whilst some suffered defeats.

Below is a review of the performances of Super Eagles player's in the Europa league and in the conference league on Thursday night.

1. Henry Onyekuru (Olympiacos Piraeus, Grecce)

The Nigerian Super Eagles winger and his Greek side suffered a heavy defeat (3-1) in the hands of German Bundeliga outfit, Eintracht Frankfurt, in the Europa league.

Onyekuru came off the bench at the half hour mark in the second half.

2. Victor Osimhen (Napoli, Italy)

It was another game and another goal for the Super Eagles tailsman, Victor Osimhen, on Thursday night in the Europa league.

The red hot striker came off the bench in the second half to add to his side lead at the 80min in their (3-0) against Polish side, Legia Warsaw.

3. Leon Balogun (Rangers, Scotland)

The Super Eagles center back had a goal to his name in his Scottish side (2-0) win against, Brondby, in the Europa league on Thursday night.

Balogun got his side first goal against their 'Stubborn' Dannish opponents at the 18min in the first half.

4. Joe Aribo (Rangers, Scotland)

The Super Eagles midfield maestro played all 90min in his side (2-0) big win on Thursday night in the Europa league.

5. Calvin Bassey (Rangers, Scotland)

The Super Eagles left footed defender was a second half substitute for his Scottish side as he came on to help his side defend their win against, Brondby.

6. Taiwo Awoniyi (Union Berlin, Germany)

The Super Eagles Striker goal wasn't enough to avert his side (3-1) defeat on Thursday night in the Europa Conference League as they lost against it's Dutch opponents, Feyenoord.

6. Cyril Dessers (Feyenoord, Netherland)

The Super Eagles Striker was a second half substitute in his Dutch side (3-1) win against German side, Union Berlin in the Europa Conference league.

7. Paul Onuachu (Genk, Belgium)

The Super Eagles tailsman, Paul Onuachu, and his Belgian side suffered a big (3-0) defeat against English Side, West Ham.
