Five Nigeria Based Europe Players, Gernot Rohr Should Call For The 2022 World Cup qualifiers

Gernot Rohr took charge of Nigeria's national football team back in 2016, The German coach has done a good job since he was appointed, he took Nigeria to the Russia 2018 Fifa world cup tournament and also took third in the 2019 AFCON tournament.

Gernot Rohr will be looking forward to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September, after Nigeria's friendly match against Cameroon. Ahead of the 2022 world cup tournament, here's are here five Nigeria based European players, Gernot Rohr must call to play for the qualifiers;-

1. Bright Osayi-Samuel

Bright Osayi Samuel was born on the 13th December 1997 and plays for Super Lig club Fernabahce. Bright is an amazing attacking talent and he can offer a lot to the Nigeria National team, due to his ability to play in different attacking positions. Bright can play in the attacking midfield role and also as a winger.

2. Eberechi Eze

Like Osayi, the attacking midfielder can also play in different attacking roles and even as a central midfielder in a three-man midfield. Eze is a very skillful player, with good dribbling, and shooting skills. Eze plays for premier league club, Crystal palace and his performance last season has gotten the attention of the Nigeria fan base. Despite being originally from Nigeria, it will be difficult for Eberechi Eze to choose between Nigeria and England, if England calls him to join the national team.

3.Frank Onyeka

Third on the list is Frank Onyeka, who currently plays for FC Midtjylland. The Nigerian-born footballer has matured and improve in recent seasons, and to top how good he is, he has voted the best player at Fc Midtjylland two seasons ago.

4. Azubuike Okechukwu

Azubuike Okechukwu currently plays for Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey. He joined the club permanently back in August of last year, having been on loan at the club previously. The 23-year-old is another player for the future and could be yet another exciting Nigerian player to look at for.

5. Zaidu Sanusi

Zaidi Sanusi, who moved to Porto last summer, has impressed the club and now getting regular playing time. He was directly pushed into the first-team picture and the 23-year-old who plays in the left-back position for Porto looks set to be a future star for the Nigeria national team if he gets called up.
