Transfer: Done deal; Crystal Palace eye Wan-Bissaka return; Mbappe's mother wants Liverpool switch

Done deal: Man United sign Biancheri

Gabriele Biancheri has joined Manchester United from Cardiff on a four-year deal. The striker, who has represented Wales at under-17 level, has impressed at age group levels for the Bluebirds this term, striking 17 goals. The 16-year-old was initially linked to United in the January transfer window, with the club keen to secure a deal which would involve Biancheri signing an initial scholar contract, which would become a four-year professional contract when he turns 17 in September.

Crystal Palace eye Wan-Bissaka return

Crystal Palace are eyeing a sensational return for Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Football Insider. The 25-year-old is contracted to the Red Devils until June 2025 and has enjoyed a return to the team of late. But with Diogo Dalot being Erik ten Hag's clear first choice at right-back, Wan-Bissaka could return to Palace in the hunt for more game time, a club where he spent three years.

Mbappe's mother wants Liverpool switch

With Kylian Mbappe's contract at PSG expiring in the summer of 2024, L'Equipe recently reported that the French superstar could seek an exit at the end of this season. While a move to Real Madrid has long been mooted, The Express have revealed that this transfer would clash with the preferences of Mbappe's mother, who would prefer a switch to Liverpool instead. "We talked a little bit, but not too much," the 24- year-old said when quizzed on the Reds. "I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don’t know why, you will have to ask her! It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club."
