Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola has named his side’s squad to tackle Chelsea in the Champions League final tie on Saturday night in Portugal.

Guardiola released a 24-man squad to face Chelsea at the Estádio do Dragão in a post via Man City’s website.

Juventus Re-appoints Another Coach

Massimiliano Allegri has been re-appointed as Juventus manager following the sacking of Andrea Pirlo.

Allegri has come back to the Turin club on a €9m (£7.7m)-a-year deal, according to sky in Italytwo years after he departed following a successful first spell in charge.

The 53-year-old guided Juventus to two Champions League finals, he also won four Coppa Italia trophies between 2014 and 2019 and departed that summer after a fifth straight Serie A triumph.

The appointment comes following the dismissal of Pirlo earlier on Friday, with the 42-year-old having overseen Juve missing out on the Italian top-flight title for the first time in 10 years.

Ronaldo speaks about Leaving Juventus

Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has told his teammates that he is considering leaving the Bianconeri this summer.

Marca reports that Ronaldo had a dressing room meeting with his teammates, stating he plans to leave the club.

The 36-year-old informed his teammates that he had already achieved his goal when he joined the Serie A giants.

Ronaldo’s current contract with Juventus will expire in 2022, but the Portugal captain has been linked with an exit for the past several months.

Obama praises Marcus Rashford

Former U.S. President Barack Obama has praised England forward Marcus Rashford for his work tackling child food poverty.

The former president and the soccer star discussed in a video call on how young people can make an impact on society.

They also shared experiences, including being raised by single mothers.

Rashford led a campaign last year to end child food poverty and successfully lobbied the British government to continue providing free school meals during the holidays

The 23-year-old was awarded an MBE for services to vulnerable children during the COVID-19 pandemic

Van Persie predicts Champions League final

Former Arsenal and Manchester United striker, Robin van Persie, has said he wants Manchester City to win this year’s Champions League trophy.

Pep Guardiola’s men take on Chelsea for Europe’s biggest prize in club competition this Saturday.

Van Persie believes Guardiola is playing the most entertaining brand of football in the world.

He also feels the Catalan deserves to win his first European crown for a decade and he is not a big fan of Thomas Tuchel.
