Manchester United winger Tahith Chong will join Birmingham City on a season-long loan, where he will get first-team experience. Last season, the Netherlands under 21 international spent the second half of the season with Werder Bremen before moving to Birmingham in January to acquire first-team experience.
Chong will spend the preseason with Manchester United before joining Birmingham at a mutually agreed upon period before the championship season begins. The teenager has a plenty of experience for a player his age, having appeared in 44 games between England, Belgium, and Germany.
The Manchester United academy graduate has six caps for the Netherlands under 21 side. Before the 2021/2022 season, he will join the Birmingham training camp at St Andrews and begin working with Blues manager Lee Bowyer.
