Glasgow Rangers football club star Leon Balogun opened scoring for the away team in the 29th minutes after receiving an assist from Chidozie Awaziem, before Napoli football club star Victor Osimhen doubled the lead in the 45th minutes through an assist from William Troost Ekong to end the first half 2-0.
Both teams efforts to score more goals in the second half of the game were not successful, as the match ended 2-0 in favour of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
