Tonight's Champions League games which featured Real Madrid taking on Liverpool for a second leg and Manchester City taking up Dortmund also for their second leg, were indeed a joy to many, but sorrow to few, as Real Madrid and Man City came out victorious and would now go on to face Chelsea and PSG respectively in the Semi-Finals.
The just concluded Quarter-Finals was indeed one to behold as it was packaged with unexpected surprises as PSG beat Bayern and Real Madrid eased past Liverpool.
The Semi-Finals which is going to take place in the 27th of this month will see PSG battle Man City and Real Madrid battle Chelsea.
Meanwhile, tonight was indeed a happy one for English youngster, Phil Foden, as he made sure he secured Man City's victory by scoring the 2 winning goals against Dortmund in both legs. His performances have of no doubt been nothing short of amazing.
However, the Manchester City forward, moments ago took a bold step and sent a strong message to French International, Kylian Mbappe as he asked Mbappe a challenging question He asked if Mbappe was ready for their upcoming clash.
See his tweet below.
In my opinion, Foden's confidence is understandable after a beautiful display of class against Dortmund. However, it is important to bear in mind that Mbappe and PSG are in great form at the moment, having knocked out probably the world's best team, Bayern; they also have their major stars 100 percent fit, such as Neymar, Di Maria, Veraiit and Navas.
It will definitely be a tough 2 legs for both teams, but I back Mbappe and PSG to claim the victory.
What do you think about this?
