Yesterday's European World cup qualifying matches were full of lot of suspense.
Memphis Depay was the star in Group G after he hit a brace against Gibraltar. Those two goals took him to 35 international goals for the Netherlands national team. In Group J, Germany defeated North Macedonia by 4 goals to nothing. Chelsea stars, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz were on the scoresheet. Werner himself scored a brace and if he wasn't substituted in the 74th minute, perhapsa may have gotten an hat-trick.
Another result that caught the eye was the Croatia versus Slovakia match in Group H. In that match, Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric led Croatia to a 2 - 2 draw against Slovakia. Check out all the results from yesterday's European World cup qualifying matches below.
