Sao tome Vs South Africa

South Africa were triumphant against Sao Tome and Principe 2-4

J. Soares opened the scoring in the 12 minutes for the host before Themba Zwane cancelled it in the 48 minutes.

South Africa lead for the first time in the match in the 70 minutes but it was short lived when Harramiz equalised in the 75 minutes to make it 2-2

The game took a dramatic turn when South Africa scored two goals within the space of one minute courtesy of goals from Themba Zwane 87 and Percy Tau 88

With this victory, South Africa have drawn level with Ghana while Sao Tome and Principe remains pointless.


Zimbabwe vs Algeria.

Algeria lost Two goals lead in the first half as Zimbabwe came from behind to force a draw.

Andy Delort scored the first goal of the match in the 34 minutes. Four minutes later, Riyadh Mahrez doubled it with a brilliant finish to beat the goalkeeper.

Two minutes to the end of first half, K. Musona pulled one back to make it 1-2

Going towards the end of the game, Prince Dube scored the equalising goal in the 82 minutes to share a point with Algeria.

Algeria maintains there five points lead of Zimbabwe to top group H.


South Sudan vs Uganda

Uganda suffered a set back in an attempt to top group B when they lost away to south Sudan.

Tito Okello scored the only goal through a penalty in the 35 minutes.

both team finished with ten men as Khalid Aucho was sent off in the 33 minutes followed by Asad Musa in the 83 minutes.


Malawi vs Burkina Faso


It all ended in a stalemate as both team failed to find the back of the net.

Nevertheless, Burkina Faso remains the group B leader while Malawi occupied the third spot.


Eswatini vs Congo

Eswatini earned their first point of the group through the draw against Congo after losing all the first three matches played.
