Brentford VS. Chelsea: 3 Players Who Will Be Eager To Get Back To Their Best After Recent Struggles

Brentford will welcome Chelsea in a Premier League match on Saturday evening. As both clubs continues to prepare for the encounter, there are 3 Chelsea players who will be eager to get back to their best after struggling to maintain a consistent level of performance. This article will examine 3 Chelsea players who will be eager to utilize this weekend's Premier League match to get their season back on track.

Below is a list of 3 Chelsea players whose main aim will be to use this weekend's match against Brentford to get back to their best form.

Before the start of this season, Mason Mount was tipped to be one of the best young stars to watch out for after his wonderful 2020/21 season for Chelsea. Mason Mount started this season in a good form, however, after some few matches, he lost form and it was difficult to recognize him during Chelsea's matches.

Mason Mount is part of those sets of players who would love to regain their lost glory as the Premier League returns this weekend. Mason Mount is an exciting player, however, he can only impress if Tuchel gives him the chance to do so on Saturday evening.

2. Romelu Lukaku:

When Lukaku scored 4 goals in 4 matches, the whole world saw what Chelsea had been missing for long. However, since he scored against Zenith in the UEFA Champions League, Lukaku has failed to score any goals for Chelsea. In fact, Lukaku has often looked lost in most games he has played since the Zenith match.

This weekend's match presents another opportunity for Lukaku to get back to his best. Although, it won't be easy to bully Brentford's defense, Lukaku has to do it nonetheless. A striker is nothing without scoring goals and nobody knows this more than Lukaku. Saturday's game will mean a lot to Lukaku if he can score a goal.

3. Ben Chilwell:

Ben Chilwell is another player who would be interested in making a statement in Saturday's encounter against Brentford. The only issue is knowing whether or not Tuchel will start Chilwell ahead of Alonso. Chilwell started his career at Chelsea on a good note. However, since Tuchel became the coach of Chelsea, Alonso has played more than Chilwell.

Chilwell recently got an invitation to play for England and he played well when he was called upon. He will be hopeful that Tuchel will let him play on Saturday against Brentford. Playing some minutes in the match will mean a lot to Chilwell.
