The Champions League came with lot of mixed reactions as team have finally turned their attention to their various domestic leagues. This weekend will see few of football heavy weight face each other, as fans will be cheering in support to their favorite teams.
In England, Manchester United will welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford on Sunday for their first encounter this season. After failing to secure victories in their last 2 Premier League matches, Ole Gunner Solskjaer will be hoping he can turn his league disappointment around (Manchester United drew to Everton 1-1 before the international break and lost to Leicester City 4-2 after the international break). However, Liverpool have been impressive this season as they have shown traits and qualities of a true champion. If Liverpool wins at Old Trafford, they will return back to second place 1 point below ChelseaIn Spain, Barcelona will welcome Real Madrid to the Camp Nou, as they seek to turn their disappointing La Liga season opener around. Barcelona are currently 7th in the La Liga log standings, as they are facing their worst start in over a decade. Real Madrid are third and could move to number 1 spot if they secure all three points against Barcelona (The Barcelona and Real Madrid match holds this Sunday).
In Italy, Inter Milan will host Juventus at San Siro, as the Italian giants would be hoping they can overcome their fiercest rival. Inter Milan and Juventus are currently 3rd and 7th respectively, as a win will boast either of their title chase.
In France, third place Marseille will host first place Paris Saint Germain as both side will be expected to prove their title credentials to their fans. Marseille have been impressive this season as they are current third in the Ligue 1 table. However, PSG could extended their League dominance by 12 points if they win Marseille.
