The former Manchester City star was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI following his incredible performance for the club in their previous game and he was able to shine.
Kelechi Ịheanachọ started the game alongside Ademola Lookman and they were both able to impress as they scored a goal each to seal the deserved win of the night for the Brendan Rodgers' side.
The first half of the game was such a balanced one between the two sides as there was nothing to separate them going into the half time break which ended goalless draw.
The visitor in the second half stepped up their game as they got their opening goal in the 50th minute courtesy of Ademola Lookman getting on the score sheet to make it one nil, before Kelechi Ịheanachọ made it two for the Foxes in the 88th minutes.
After several attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the night, all were not successful as it ended two goals to nil at full time.
The two goals scored by Ademola Lookman and Kelechi Iheanacho were enough to seal the deserved win for the visitor and as such booked a spot for them in the next round of the competition, with the optimism to keep the winning streaks going.
