Real Madrid Beats Villarreal 2-1 At Home As They Emerge As La Liga Champions

Realize Madrid are already La Liga champions as they beat Villarreal 2-1 at home to seven points clear ahead Barcelona.

Victor Iborra pulled one back for Villarreal as he scored a header in the 83rd minute to make it 2-1.

Iborra missed a clear chance to get the equaliser in the 90+4 minute but his shot missed the target.

Marco Asensio tried to seal the match with a goal in the 90+5 minute but the goal is ruled out by VAR for offside.

Real Madrid won at full time with a 2-1 scoreline.

Barcelona loss to Osasuna means Real Madrid are La Liga champions for the 34th time.
