Liverpool put their unbeaten run in the English Premier League this season to the test as they get set to face Manchester United on Sunday at Old Trafford. The Reds are yet record a defeat this season, they have played eight matches this season and are yet to drop points.
Unlike some other clubs who are yet to face tougher opponents this season, Liverpool have faced some of the big sides in the league and have successfully come out of such ties with a point at least. During the early days of the season, the Reds were faced with the Blues and they both had to share points.
The match was an intense one, with both sides being worthy contenders for the title this season. Liverpool scaled through the game without recording any defeat.
Their game against Manchester City was also a tough one, though thrilling to watch, but both sides were all over each other. Recording a 2-2 draw at the end of ninety minutes, Jurgen Klopp's strategy has help him escape the fiery darts of his opponents unhurt.
Here comes yet another tough match for the Reds to come out victorious, or lose it all in battle after ninety minutes. The Red Devils would be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after they fell flat to the foxes last weekend in a 4-2 thriller. Their unbeaten away run has already been cut short but they would be looking to get back on their feet.
With the inclusion of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in the Liverpool squad, they look more dangerous in the attacking front than the Red Devils. Any of them should get on the score sheet, they are relentless and goal hungry, more emphasis on Salah who sits at the top of the EPL goal scorers chart.
