UEFA Champions League

Former Chelsea manager and 3 other coaches that have been tipped to replace Koeman as Barca coach

Barcelona football club of Spain head coach Ronald Koeman has been facing a lot of uncertainty as the team manager, following the club's poor run of form this season, and that has made a lot of highly respected coaches to be linked with the team's job.

The former Everton football club of England coach took over from Valverde last season, following their poor outing against Bayern Munich football club in the UEFA Champions League in previous season, but the Dutchman has not been getting it right with the club.

Barcelona football club finished at the Third spot in the Spanish Laliga Santander League table last season, and they are currently sitting at the 9th position in the Spanish Laliga table with 12 points from 7 matches played.

The former Laliga Champions are yet to gather a point in this season's UEFA Champions League, after losing their first two matches against Bayern Munich FC and Portuguese Primeira Liga giants Benfica FC, and that has been putting Koeman under pressure.

Here are the four managers that have been linked with Barcelona football club's job;

Antonio Conte

Former Chelsea football club of England head coach Antonio Conte is one of the favourite managers that is likely to take over Barcelona's job from Ronald Koeman if he's eventually sacked.

The Italian has a lot of experiences with many clubs in Europe, and he was able to win League titles with Chelsea FC, Juventus FC and Inter Milan and a lot of local trophies before he resigned as Inter Milan Coach at the end of last season.

Conte's achievements with his previous clubs is part of the reasons he has been linked with a move to the club and he'll definitely deliver if he is considered.

Xavi Hernández

The Spaniard enjoyed his stay at Barcelona football club when he was the team's player, and his records with the club makes him to be among the favourites to take over from Koeman.

Xavi is presently the head coach of Al Sadd football club and he is extremely doing well with the team, and that experience will surely help him if he's chosen as Barcelona coach.

Roberto Martínez

The former Wigan Athletic football club of England coach is one of the favourites to take over Barcelona's job, and he has been linked with the club for the past few months.

The Spaniard is doing a great job with the Red Devils of Belgium and he will also be a good coach at Barcelona FC.

Erik ten Hag

The 51 years old manager has been one of the best coaches in Europe since taking over Ajax Amsterdam FC job, and he has been able to make the club one of the best teams in Europe.

The Dutchman is another candidate that has been linked with a move to Barcelona FC and he has everything to turn the team's season around.
