The 2019/20 Europa League highest goal scorer opened his campaign in the current season by creating two EPL chances against Brighton. This midfield stalwart has created 9 chances in two matches and 6 in 6 other games this season. He has only failed to make any key passes on two occasions since this term began.
The Red Devils star is closely followed by Kieran Trippier of Newcastle United. This England international created 4 chances in the march day 35 clash with Arsenal to raise his tally to 101. It should be put on record that this Englishman is the first to hit a century of key passes in the EPL this season. Interestingly, unlike most players in this category, Trippier is a full back. Meanwhile, his best chance-creating outputs this season are in games against Crystal Palace and Leeds. Unfortunately, the Toons coyks not score any goal against either side.
Next among these top chance creators is Kevin De Bruyne. This Belgian attacking midfielder has created a total of 97 chances for Manchester City this season. This makes the former Chelsea star one of the three players that have give more than 90 key passes this season. Behind him are 6 footballers that Have created between 81- 89 assists this within the same period. These include Remy Cabella from Lille (89), Jonas Hoffman of Borussia Munchengladbach (89), Benjamin Bourigeaud of Rennes(84) and Branco van den Boomen from Toulouse (83). Others Joshua Kimmich and Franck Honorat of Bayern Munich Brest respectively. The former has created 82 chances while the latter has created 81 in the domestic league this season.
