Italian Serie A has banned the colour green from all kits from the 2022/23 season as the 2021/22 season will be the last season in which Serie A Club will be permitted to sport kit for outfield players that a predominantly green.
This rules also apply to Shorts and Socks.

The Football Italia has claimed that television companies have called for change amid fear that green kits and the pitch colour are very similar, causing football players to blend to the background thereby becoming indistinguishable from the turf and this will making watching difficult for television viewers.
Serie A Giants Sassuolo plays in green, lol. Apart from Sassuolo, teams like Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan have all sported on green kits.
