The Premier League was in full action as Chelsea hosted Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. Pep Guardiola's Manchester City outshined Chelsea today to take all three points after a heated battle at Stamford Bridge.
Gabriel Jesus second-half goal was all that separated the two teams as Pep Guardiola gets his first win against Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea.
The referee of the game, Michael Oliver was outstanding today as he made correct decisions. All his decisions and verdict was spot on and he ensured he judged the game fairly and should be applauded for his outstanding officiating today.
Michael Oliver made a big decision in the 63rd minute when Chelsea thought they have equalized in the game. Kai Havertz received the ball in an offside position before setting up Romelu Lukaku who scored with a simple tap in. However, Michael Oliver and the linesmen intervened and ruled out the goal for an offside.
