John Mike Obi played for his Country Nigeria 91 times before his retirement from international football last year. He was Nigeria major defender for more than a decade.
Mikel enjoyed football with Nigeria, he was among the team that lifted the AFCON Cup in 2013, he also has 3 bronze medals from the same competition.



He also played for Chelsea for good 11 years winning 2 Premier leagues, Fa cups and the rests. Mikel played for Middleborough, Trabzonspor before joining Stoke.


He has the intention of retiring from football at England and he has decided to do so with Stoke City.

He completed his move to Stoke City the Championship club today on a one year deal.
