The Winners And Losers: Preview Of Five Fixtures That Will Be Played Today

Another new round of fixtures await fans in today's game, and we all would hope that today games are more exciting, and goal filled involved.

Yesterday's game didn't offer as much as fans would have wanted, the highest scoring match in the premier league was that of Chelsea against Southampton with four goals, every others were either a goal, or two. So as in other leagues too.

So, let's checkout today's game, and see how our favourite teams would perform against their opponents today.

5. Espanyol Vs Real Madrid

After the red half of Madrid saw victory yesterday, that is Atletico Madrid against Barcalona with puts them on level point with Real Madrid, Real Madrid would like to still preserve that three point gap over their arch rivals.

The game against Espanyol would offer that chance, for a team that has won just once, all throughout the present campaign, and has conceded almost double the amount they have scored, Real Madrid should be on their way to a victory.

Likely Scoreline: Espanyol 0 - 2 Real Madrid.

4. Rennes Vs PSG

Why some clubs apply different forms in different competitions still amazes me, I mean Rennes are doing well in the newly found European Conference league, and while in the league they are barely holding on.

PSG would be looking at expanding their lead at the top of the French Ligue 1, and with Lionel Messi having scored his first goal for the club during the week, just maybe a huge margin victory awaits the French team.

Likely Scoreline: Rennes 1 - 4 PSG.

3. Bayern Munich Vs Eintract Frankfurt

Eintract Frankfurt are yet to win a league game this season, with five draws and a lose, they are just two spots above the relegation playoff zone in the German Bundesliga.

While Bayern Munich have continued their normal dominance in the Bundesliga, and playing against a team, that has conceded in all the games they have played this season in the league, but have still successfully held on for a draw, just maybe they might pull the same trick against the Bavarians today.

Likely Scoreline: Bayern Munich 1 - 1 Eintract Frankfurt.

2. Atalanta Vs AC Milan

One reason why this sort of games ought to be cherished is that you can sure of one thing, you might not be sure of the scoreline, or the lineups, but you can be sure there will be goals.

Both teams household names in their respective cities, but with AC Milan going from strength to strength this season, they could slightly edge out Atalanta.

Likely Scoreline: Atalanta 1 - 2 AC Milan.

1. Liverpool Vs Manchester City

The last kickoff game in the premier league today, both managers all both know each other all too well, with Jurgen Klopp having that dominance over Pep, until that humbling defeat they suffered last season.

Liverpool would be cautious, to how they approach the game, and a win would see them topple Chelsea over, to regain the first position on the premiership table.

Likely Scoreline: Liverpool 2 - 1 Manchester City.
