Atletico Madrid Loanee Joao Felix have shed light on why he picked Chelsea over other clubs in the January transfer window. Meanwhile, his comment has shown why he would love to continue at the club for a long-term project.
Felix since he joined the west London club had brought new life to their attack because Chelsea now creates more chances in the front of the goal than before. The only thing remaining is their ability to convert those chances into goals which everyone believes they will be working on in training.
Felix's only goal for Chelsea came in their draw against West Ham United at London Stadium. The Portugal forward was set up by Enzo Fernandez for the goal. Since then, he has been struggling in front of the goal as he keeps missing chances upon chances in every game.
However, Felix on why he joined Chelsea in the January window was quoted as saying: “Chelsea is a team that likes to attack, has the ball, dominate the game. So that is the game I like to play. I feel very free to play here and as I like. I love it!”.
This comment form Felix shows that Chelsea Is a team where he feels at home which means that he would also love to commit his future to the club. Chelsea has a tough match against Dortmund tomorrow and they need just a 2-0 win to qualify for the quarter-finals.
All eyes will be on Felix, Sterling, Havertz, Mudryk and other players to help Chelsea achieve their aim.
