After agreeing personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen star player Kai Havertz, Chelsea are reportedly planning another big money signing(defender) in the form of ''Robin Gosens''
Chelsea are interested in signing Atalanta defender Robin Gosens after Frank Lampard made the potential Left back signing one of his top priorities this summer.
Frank Lampard is understood to be heavily linked with a host of defenders like Ben Chilwell and Alex Nicolas Tagliafico. But as it stands now, the German international defender is now Chelsea’s first choice target this summer, with Atalanta ready to listen to offers for the world class. It is understood that the Italian Club can only sell the German defender for a huge amount of €27m.
Robin Gosens has scored 7 and assisted 4 for the Italian outfit this season in all competitions. He has been impressive in the last three seasons since his arrival at Gewiss Stadium. He has featured in 16 league games so far and has helped the team reach the knockout stages of the Champions League despite the club losing the first three of their group-stage matches. He is also good in the air and he wins most of the balls he contests for.
Signing this great defender to Stamford Bridge will really add quality and firmness to Lampard's squad.
