At the start of this term, no body could have envisaged Chelsea's season to turn out this bad.
Chelsea got themselves new owners who were willing to spend lavishly and also had a top-class coach Thomas Tuchel, so they were expected to challenge on all fronts this campaign.
Unfortunately, their on-field problems started when Todd Boehly decided to fire Tuchel and hire Graham Potter as the German's replacement.
Out of 39 points Chelsea has accumulated so far in the Premier League, 10 of them were gotten under Tuchel who managed just 6 league matches before he was dismissed.
Potter came in and pulled Chelsea further down the table with series of defeats and draws despite having quality players at his disposal.
And to make matters worse, Boehly sacked Potter and brought an incompetent Frank Lampard to steady the ship till the end of the season.
So far, Lampard has shown he's not suitable for the job, losing his first 6 matches in charge and may make it 7 defeats in a row if Bournemouth wins today.
Speaking ahead of their match, popular Nigerian TV host Frank Edoho said that "being a part of this club has given us the aptitude to predict the near future".
Frank further went on to tell his fellow supporters that by the end of their match by 5pm, they will be gnashing their teeths.
From what Edoho said, does it mean that Chelsea fans now expect their team to lose a match even before it starts?
