France won Kazakhstan 2-1 in their last European World cup qualifying match thanks to goals from Ousmane Dembele and an own goal. This put the current defending World champions in a good place to qualify for next year's tournament in Qatar.
But one incident stood out from the game which was surprising to one Player and everyone else who saw it. Manchester United's Forward, Anthony Martial who gave the assist for the first game had to limp of due to their injury and had to be replaced.
He came off and was set to be replaced by PSG star, Kylian Mbappe. The PSG man was waiting on the touchline and as Martial was heading towards his direction, he pulled out his hand for the customary handshake between Players but Martial snubbed him. That baffled and shocked Mbappe who did not look happy as he wondered why Martial acted that way.
France went on to win the game with Mbappe missing a penalty late in the game but hopefully that incident is just a one off and not a serious issue.
What is your opinion on Martial's action?
Thanks for reading.
