Chelsea fans will be happy that they have booked their spot in this year’s UCL Semi Final. Chelsea however will face either Real Madrid or Liverpool depending on tomorrow’s result, but Madrid have the advantage due to their 3-1 win in the first leg. If Real Madrid beat Liverpool, then Chelsea fans might have better hopes of playing in the UCL finals because they have never lost against Real Madrid before.
It is an amazing record that Chelsea have against Real Madrid. Chelsea have played Real Madrid 3 times and they have never lost.

Chelsea is the only team in the world to have remained unbeaten after playing the Spanish giants on 3 or more occasions.
The amazing thing about the record is that all the matches have been in UEFA competitions. Chelsea even beat the Spanish giants in the final of the The UEFA Super Cup in 1998.

History is very important in football and a resurgent Chelsea side under Thomas Tuchel will be hoping that the record stays intact. It will be very difficult against a Real Madrid team brimming with Talent and confidence, but It will also be interesting to see the role the record will play in the tie.
Will the record be enough motivation for Chelsea players, or will it serve as a point to prove for Real Madrid players.
