According to the latest update on @nidcom_gov on Twitter, the commission which was put in place for Nigerians in Diaspora by the Nigerian government cited the achievements of two Nigerians abroad.
The body headed by Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa felicitated with Foluke Laosebikan who was recently appointed as Queen's counsel in Canada, an equivalent to the country's Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Apollo Crews for winning the WWE Intercontinental championship.
Apollo Crews was able to beat Big E in a Nigerian Drum Fight to become the new Intercontinental Champion with some help from his Nigerian Bodyguard Commander Azeez.
The 33-year-old was a former WWE United States Champion and the Intercontinental championship is his second WWE belt since he joined the sporting entertainment company seven years ago.
Apollo Crews father is originally from Vandeikya, Benue State in the middle belt region of Nigeria while his mother is also from Benue State , Nigeria.
