Jordan Henderson is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team.

Henderson made his under-19 debut against the Czech Republic in 2009 before joining Stuart Pearce's under-21 squad.In the European U21 Championship play-offs against Romania, he scored his first goal for England, a volley from outside the box giving England the lead.
Henderson captained Liverpool to a 2–0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid on 1 June 2019, becoming the club's fifth captain to win the Champions League trophy. Liverpool then went on to win the 2019 UEFA Super Cup on penalties, defeating Chelsea.
