Arsenal need a big summer restructuring, and they can only do that by moving on the underperforming players and replace them with quality players. The Gunners finished eight position in the Premier League standings last season and are looking to improve on that aspect next season.
Having been linked with moves for players such as Ben White, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Eduardo Camavinga, Houssem Aouar, James Maddison, Renato Sanches, Alexander Isak, the Gunners are yet to officially announce the signing of any player.
While various reports have emerged that Arsenal have completed deals to sign Nuno Tavares from Benfica and Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht, there is still a huge question about who Arsenal would sign as their second goalkeeper. Matt Ryan has already returned to Brighton after his loan expired, and Runarsson is close to signing for Turkish club Antalyaspor.
At the beginning of the summer transfer window, Arsenal were linked with a deal for Ajax's goalkeeper Andre Onana. But interest in the goalkeeper cooled off and links emerged that Arsenal could be signing Aaron Ramsdale or Sam Johnstone as their second goalkeeper.
A lot of fans were not satisfied with the club making enquiries for Aaron Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone as they view Andre Onana as a better goalkeeper, and a better profile for Mikel Artets's style of play.
New reports have now emerged that Arsenal have submitted a new offer to Ajax for the signing of Andre Onana. It was confirmed by transfer news outlet (R24AFC), but it is not yet known if Ajax have accepted or declined the offer.
In my opinion, Andre Onana would be a better signing for Arsenal as he has a lot more potential and is available for a very low fee. What do you think about this guys? Let us know in the comments section.
