Despite Lucky VAR Decision Man United Remain in Chelsea's 5th Stand

VAR disallowed Jordan Ayew's goal

Manchester United headed into the game needing maximum points to keep their Champions League hopes alive and Solskjaer picked a strong team for that job.

Marcus Rashford broke the deadlock with a lovely goal in the 45th minute to give United the much needed boost going into the second half.

Jordan Ayew's had the ball in the back of the net in the 55th minute but was unlucky to have the goal disallowed by VAR.

Anthony Martial sealed the victory for United after Rashford set him up sealing the victory for United and keeping their hopes alive.

Despite the some what comfortable win, Manchester United remained fifth in the League table, level on points with Leicester city who are in 4th.

And it doesn't matter what happens or what doesn't United have remained 5th and heading into the final game of the season United's only hope of qualifying for the Champions League is dependent on either of Chelsea or Leicester dropping points and they secure maximum points.
