Fenerbahce join the race to sign Nigerian star from an English club

According to the report from Turkey publication known as the Fanatik, Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce have joined a lot of teams interested in signing Nigerian star Bright Osayi-Samuel from the English championship side Queens Park Rangers.

Fanatik reports that the Nigerian-born youngster has been seriously monitored by Fenerbahce and his agent has been contacted by the Turkish Super Lig club ahead of the Winter transfer window (January).

Samuel has been seriously linked with a move away from the English championship club, and he was closed to leaving the club to join Club Brugge of Belgium last summer transfer window, but they were unable to reach an agreement, and that's one of the reasons why he returns to the Hoops where he was later given Jersey number 11.

Osayi-Samuel 22, is likely to leave Queens Park Rangers on a free transfer and he'll be free to negotiate with any interest clubs in January, as his present contract with the club is expected to runs out in June 2021.

Fenerbahce are looking for a player who can play in both wings on the pitch, and the Nigerian who has been linked with the likes of Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace etc, has been seen as the better option for the club.

Samuel joined Queens Park Rangers in 2017 from Blackpool FC, and he has been outstanding for the Hoops since then, scoring the total number of 12 goals in over 100 appearances, from which he won the club’s goal of the season in 2019/2020 season.
