Opinion: If Ronaldo Can Shine At The Age Of 36, Then Ighalo Can Shine At The Age Of 32

Football is a sport for both the young and the old. Football is very competitive, and for any player to succeed in football, he has to possess a lot of good qualities like speed, finishing etc.

One of the players in a football team with the most responsibilities is the centre forward. The centre forwards are the ones who are expected to score for their club and country, and if the must excel in that position, then they must possess speed, strength and finishing.

As a result of these qualities which a good centre forwards must possess, a lot of football fans and clubs believe that center forwards should be younger players, rather than older players.

Ighalo was once one of the best super Eagles players. He has been involved in a lot of their victories. He has also scored some important goals for the super Eagles. At that time, Ighalo was a bit younger, and so he possessed speed and finishing, but due to his age, he is no longer as fast as he was.

Ighalo was recently called by the Super Eagles coach, Rohr to play for the super Eagles in the World Cup Qualifiers. A lot of Super Eagles players were not happy with this decision, because they believed Nigeria already had young and promising players.

When Cristiano Ronaldo was signed by Manchester United, their fans were happy, but they also thought that he might not perform the way he did when he was younger, but Cristiano Ronaldo proved them wrong.

Ronaldo's performance for Manchester United this season is far better than his performance in the first season he joined Manchester United.

If Cristiano Ronaldo can still shine at the age of 36, then Ighalo can also shine at the age of 32.

Do you think Ighalo would shine in the Super Eagles, drop comments below.
