Nigeria professional football league players displayed a good sport man spirit in week 9 of the league by engaging themselves to make sure their teams win matches both at away and home. Kwara United, Kano Pillars and Heartland football club won at away.

Enyimba football club is currently occupying the first position in the league with 21 points ahead of Rivers United and Kwara United in same points but goal difference separated the both team.

The Nigerian Professional Football League has gotten another shape since the beginning of the season as the Referee's and league management committee has taken a great measure to improve the league.
