Chelsea are through to the Semifinals of the Champions League for the 1st time in 5 years. Although Porto won tonight 1-0, Chelsea ran out winners with an aggregate score of 2-1 all thanks to last week's victory. Now, Chelsea will be wanting who there next opponents will be, Real Madrid or fellow Englishmen, Liverpool.
One stat that stood out in the match was about Christian Pulisic. He indeed put in a superb performance tonight to put Chelsea through the Semifinals. He was everywhere on the pitch. In fact, he formed the youngest attack in Chelsea's history in the Champions League alongside Mason Mount and Kai Havertz, also at there best tonight. But Christian Pulisic also equalled one of the GOAT's record. He was fouled 11 times tonight against Porto. The only person to ever have this record was Lionel Messi against Real Madrid in 2011, a match Messi won singlehandedly 2-0 back then for Barcelona. Christian Pulisic left the field bruised and tired but also with the man of the match award and a Semifinal to look forward to.
