How Chelsea could line up against Norwich without Lukaku and Timo Werner.

Chelsea football club will play Norwich city this weekend without a recognized striker for the first time this season after Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner went off injured in the midweek game against Malmo.

The two key forwards left the pitch in the first half and from all indications they might be out for some couple of weeks, it means Thomas Tuchel and his staff have to cope in their absence.

Romelu Lukaku injured and could be out for weeks.

We expect Norwich city not to pose serious threat in this match but every team in the league is strong and can never be underestimated.

So we expect Thomas Tuchel to return Kai Havertz as a false nine with the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount giving him the necessary support.

The silky German Kai Havertz could lead the attack

Callum Hudson-Odoi could get a start to support the attack.

In midfield Chelsea is blessed with five midfielders and because Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-cheek was rested in midweek, we suspect they could get a start this weekend.

Ruben Loftus-cheek could start in midfield

Chelsea could start their three best central defenders Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva while Ben Chilwell and Reece James both operates in the wing back positions with Edouard Mendy in goal.

Andreas Christensen scored in midweek and could start this weekend again
