Manchester United failed to pick the final slot to face Arsenal on July 31st, 2020 at Wembley Stadium. Manchester United opted to an unfamiliar 3-4-3 formation which had started to adapt to defensively until the unfortunate injury to Eric Baily which could keep him out until the end of the season.

We will take a look at all who contributed to Manchester United failure to the final of the FA Cup

De Gea: Three goalkeeping errors from the Spaniard helped Chelsea secure the spot. He was a total flop to watch 2/10

Wan-Bissaka: Mr dependable was not dependable because he was not allowed freely to make those dangerous threatening wings runs. He has to seat back to assist the defensive. 3/10

Lindelof: Time in, time out, he has being hiding under the shielded umbrella of Maguire as he wasn't able to make much defensive challenges. 3/10

Bailly: The injury is a big blow and threat yo Manchester United defense. One could even say that the defense line was opened as a result of his injury as he always commit himself to challenges 5/10

Maguire (c): The Manchester United captain and skipper was the major reason Manchester United were still in the match as at 40minutes. He tried being the maestro of the defense but it wasn't a one man's job so he will need to lead another day. 5/10

Williams: Due to his overlapping, he was mostly caught out duties all through the 90minutes. He is yet to understand his position in the team. 2/10

Matic: Slow and misplaces a lot of the ball. Can't really pick out his contributions to the game but a header of a shot off target he made 2/10

Fred: Free playing Fred had his presence felt in the midfield but couldn't do much to prevent Chelsea from scoring all three goals. 5/10

Fernandes: Manchester United has being building their team around this player since his arrival hoping that he never gets injured. His disappointment would be that his passes were not read well by James and Rashford despite that he still added s goal to his fantastic scoring records. 6/10

Rashford: I could count all the touches he contributed to the game. 3/10

Greenwood: He try but fail to try harder. 4/10

Ighalo: A Nigerian failure to watch. I think he was over hyped by Nigerians. 3/10
