In-form Super Eagles of Nigeria star Paul Onuachu continues his impressive run of form for John van den Brom led Racing Genk football club on Wednesday night, in their away victory over Eupen FC at Kehrwegstadion in the week 19th of the Belgium Pro League.
The former FC Midtjylland football club of Denmark Striker was given another starting role in his team's attack alongside Junya Ito and Theo Bongonda, and they were all fantastic for John van den Brom led team, but Paul Onuachu was the team's hero again.
Onuachu who has been firing from all cylinders since the beginning of the season started from where he stopped last year by scoring a fine hat-trick against Eupen FC to take his total goals of the season to 18 in the League.
The away team opened scoring through Junya Ito in the 9th minutes through an assist from Bastian Toma, and Stef Peeters restored the parity for the home team in the 14th minutes and Super Eagles star Paul Onuachu scored a fine goal in the 42nd minutes to end the first half 2-1.
Paul Onuachu scored his second goal of the game in the 48 minutes via a Penalty kick to make the scores 3-1, before netting another penalty to complete his hat-trick and end the match 4-1 in favour of the away team.
The Nigerian international was outstanding for the away team in the game, and he lasted on the pitch for 69th minutes before he was replaced by his compatriot Cyriel Dessers.
The 4-1 victory over Eupen FC has now taken Racing Genk to the second spot of the Belgium Jupiler Pro League with 38 points from 19 matches played, a point behind League leader Club Brugge who have 39 points.
