See Why Liverpool Players Warm Up With "Jordan 7" At The Back of Their Jerseys

On Thursday night, before Liverpool game against Manchester United at Old Trafford, Liverpool players payed tribute to a 9 year old fan called Jordan Banks in the warm up, Jurgen Kloop boys were seen warning up before the game with "Jordan 7" at the back of their shirts.

The gesture was to pay tribute to the nine-year-old fan who died after being struck by lightening on a football pitch on Tuesday. According to a tweet from Liverpool which reads "he was nicknamed "mini Milner" by his coaches, he was a brilliant person and very passionate footballer.

According to a tweet from ESPN and Blackpool Police he once raised £2.3k this year for a mental health charity in memory of his uncle, while interestingly, during the lockdown he put sweets on the cars of workers.

Liverpool won the game 3-2 courtesy of goals from Diogo Jota, a brace from Roberto Formino, and a goal from Sallah, while goals from Bruno Fernandez and Marcus Rashford wasn't enough to share the points.
