Nigeria vs Mexico: Training update of the Super Eagles, Rangers winger scores only goal in training

The Home-based Super Eagles have started training ahead of the friendly game against Mexico on Wednesday. During the training - the team was separated - into Team A and Team B.  

Four players are yet to resume camp - Rivers United forward Sunday Adetunji will join the team this evening - while the trio of John Noble, Dayo Ojo, and Anayo Iwuala will join on Thursday. 

Team A defeated Team B 1-0 at the FIFA Goal Project Centre with

Rangers winger Ibrahim Olawoyin - scoring the only goal in the practice game. Kwara United left-back Lawal Murtala provided the assist for the goal. 

Team A consists of Stanley Nwabali, Tope Olusesi, Lawal, Ifeanyi Anaemena, Christopher Nwaeze, Tony Shimaga, Samuel Nnoshiri, Olawoyin, Mohammed Zulkifilu, and Charles Atshimene.

Team B have Ikechukwu Ezenwa in goal, Sanusi, Olisah Ndah, Kazie Enyinnaya, Tebo Franklin, Seth Mayi, Uche, Stephen, Ali Mallam and Ezekwe Chinonso.

The team trained under the tutelage of Austin Eguahoven and Paul Aigbogun - with Gernot Rohr observing. Nigeria will play against Mexico on July 4.
