NEWCASTLE Becomes The Richest Football Club In The World

Newcastle has been a football club that finds it difficult to outshine the best football teams in the football world under the ownership of Mike Ashley since July 2007. Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, this consortium, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has been trying to buy the club from Mike Ashley for over a year.

The deal has now been completed after the group settled its piracy dispute with Premier League broadcast partner beIN Sports and gave assurances over who will control the club. In a statement on Newcastle's website, his Excellency Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of PIF, said: "We are extremely proud to become the new owners of Newcastle United, one of the most famous clubs in English football, we thank the Newcastle fans for their tremendously loyal support over the years and we are excited to work together with them." The fans are delighted to hear this from the owner of this football club.

Saudi's Public Investment Fund(PIF) will provide a large part of the 300 million pound takeover sum to convert Newcastle into the financially strongest club in England, as the fund's 320 billion euro fortune is almost 11 times more than the Manchester City's Sheikh Mansour. Newcastle now have unlimited money and will be able to spend whatever they want on players. Time seems to be the only resource they need to be one of the best teams in England once again.
