Norwich full-back Max Aarons is the subject of interest from West Ham - according to The Independent.

Barcelona, Bayern, Roma, Manchester City and Tottenham have also been linked with the 21-year-old, who could be available for around £30 million ($42m) this summer.

West Ham are being tipped to win the race for Aaarons' signature if they seal Champions League qualification come May.

Willock wants to stay at Newcastle

Joe Willock has informed Newcastle that he wants to stay at the club next season, claims Football Insider.

The 21-year-old midfielder is currently on loan at St James' Park from Arsenal and is tied to a contract at Emirates Stadium through to 2023.


Modric has agreed Real extension

Sticking with the contract theme, and Luka Modric has agreed terms on a new deal at Real Madrid.

Blancos president Florentino Perez has told El Larguero on the Croatian midfielder: "Modric has signed or [rather] we have reached an agreement.

"With Modric we have had an agreement for some time."


Choupo-Moting lined up for new Bayern deal

Bayern Munich are, according to Bild, handing a new contract to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

The former Stoke and PSG striker has provided cover during Robert Lewandowski's enforced absence, hitting nine goals in total this season, and will see a short-term deal extended in the summer.

Klinsmann reacts to Tottenham talk

Jurgen Klinsmann boasts strong ties to Tottenham from his playing days and says "anything is possible" after seeing his name added to the pot of potential successors to Jose Mourinho.

The former Bayern and USMNT boss told ESPN FC: "I tell you, anything is possible in life.

"I never thought I would coach Germany at a World Cup. I never thought I would coach the USA for six years or Bayern Munich. So we’ll see in a couple of months who will be the Spurs manager!"

Getafe president Angel Torres has expressed his desire to keep Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena beyond the end of his loan spell with the club.
