Three defenders that returned to Chelsea training that will boost their defensive options in UCL

English Premier League giants Chelsea football club have received a good news ahead of their UEFA Champions League game against Malmo football club, as three of their highly rated defenders returned to the team's full training.

The Blues have been exceptional since the beginning of the 2021/2022 English Premier League season, and their excellent performance has taken them to the top spot of the English Premier League table.

The Blues were without many of their first team players against high flying Brentford football club on Saturday, but they were able to secure a hard-fought victory away from home.

A first half goal from in-form England national team defender Ben Chilwell was enough to give the club a remarkable 1-0 victory over their host.

Chelsea football club are set to play host to Malmo football club of Sweden on Wednesday in the day 3 of the UEFA Champions League, and they'll be looking forward to returning to winning way in the competition, having lost 1-0 to Juventus football club in their last Champions League game at Allianz Stadium.

The return of three of the club's experience players will play a vital role in their game against the Swedish Allsvenskan League Champions.

The former AS Roma football club star was not on action for the Blues when they play Brentford football club on Saturday, having suffered an injury when he was on international duty with Germany national team last week.

The injury forced him to miss the country last game in the World Cup qualifier, and he has not been able to train with Chelsea football club as well, but the good news is that he has returned to full training on Monday and he is expected to start against Malmo FC on Wednesday night.

Thiago Silva

The former Paris Saint Germain football club captain was outstanding for Brazil national team in their international games, and his commitment with his national team made him to miss Brentford's clash.

The defender was able to return to training on Monday and he will now be looking forward to returning back to the first eleven against Malmo at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Reece James

The former Wigan Athletic star has also missed many matches for both club and country in the past due to injury, but the good news is that he has returned to the full training and he is set to play against Malmo FC in the UEFA Champions League.
