UEFA Champions League

Starting XI Of Players Who Missed the Ballon d'Or Shortlist

Following the announcement of the Ballon d'Or candidates in recent weeks, fans have expressed a number of concerns. Some think that top players were left out. This is despite the fact that they have done very well in the previous season.

On this note, we will be taking a look at the starting XI of players who missed the Shortlist.

At the goalpost, we will have Eduoard Mendy. The Senegal professional footballer and Chelsea goalkeeper played a key role in Chelsea's winning the UEFA Champions League last season. He had so many standout performances which should have earned him a place on the list.

Trent Alexander Arnold, Stevan De Vrij, Marquinos, and Alphonso Davies form the backline. The midfield is made up of Frenkie De Jong, Joshua Kimmich, and Thomas Muller.

For the front line, Federico Chiesa will play on the right wing. Son Heung Min of Tottenham Hotspurs plays as a center forward for the team. Lorenzo Insigne, Napoli's spectacular winger, plays on the left wing.

Here is what the lineup will look like.

What are your thoughts about this starting XI?
