With the current performance of Chelsea, and their position in the English Premier League Table for this season, one can safely say without any iota of doubt that they are one of the best team or the best team in the league currently.
Despite Chelsea's good results so far, the main attacking players are yet to meet up to expectations and the manager, Thomas Tuchel might need to replace Romelu Lukaku who is his main attacking player and Kai Havertz who he sometimes plays as a false nine with players who can perform better.
Don't get me wrong, Lukaku is a very fine player, but one thing that differentiates good coaches from the others is their ability to play players that are in form over players with history of good performance. Although Lukaku has a history of good performance, he is not really in his best form which is one reason his performance has dropped recently.
Havertz on the other hand has really improved since he is being played as a false nine and despite the fact that he was very instrumental to Chelsea's successful campaign last season, he might need to be relegated a little for other potentially good players to be tried out.
A very good alternative to Lukaku and Havertz in Chelsea's attacking lineup is Mason Mount. He is one of the best players in the team currently and he is also Chelsea's best goal scorer this season. He is also the only Chelsea player to score a hattrick this season and for a long time now. He currently has eight goals this season which makes him the highest scoring player in the team currently.
Besides his current stats, Mason Mount is a fantastic player. He is creative and has an incredible eyes for goals. There are many instances where his intelligence on the field play has helped Chelsea get a win in games they were almost loosing.
If Tuchel can play him upfront in place of Lukaku or Havertz, I strongly believe Chelsea will score more goals and get better results than they are getting currently.
