Manchester United is set to welcome Spanish side Villarreal to Old Trafford as the two battles for their first three points in the group stage. Manchester United fell to a defeat against Switzerland club Young Boys, and that saw the Red Devils sit last in the UEFA Champions League group b.
Villarreal on the other hand had failed to win the Serie A team, Atalanta, with the two clubs playing out a 2-2 draw in the same group. Young Boys will now travel to Atalanta with the hope of winning the club after defeating Manchester United in Switzerland.
Manchester United will be without the likes of Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw after the two limped out of the pitch in the 1-0 defeat by Aston Villa at Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Maguire will be out for a few weeks while Shaw will be in contention for their Premier League game.
