According to reports, FIFA are set to postpone this season's Club World Cup until next season.
English club Chelsea were supposed to play in the tournament from December this season as the current champions of Europe, but reports has it now that it could be postponed untill next season.
According to reports the potential hosts Japan have pulled out of being the hosts due to the coronavirus pandemic in the world right now.
As per The Daily Mirror the Football governing body popularly known as FIFA have yet to confirm another host but they are ready to decide on that at their next Council meeting on the 20th of this month.
European Champions Chelsea would have missed some premier League matches due to the Club World Cup but as it stands now, they awaits the final decision if it will have to be postponed untill 2022.
