According to reports in Todofichajes,Chelsea could announce the signing of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng at the end of the season after they reached agreement to sign the World Cup winner.
The Blues have finalised a deal in principle with the 32-year-old's agent, and he is now set to move to Stamford Bridge on a free transfer when his contract expires in the summer.
Boateng, who has previously played in the Premier League with Manchester City, has featured in 17 Bundesliga games for Bayern this term.
Thomas Tuchel is already preparing for next season as he hope to tighten things up in the defence with a lot of experience needed by the Blues.
Another player who could move to the Stamford Bridge in the summer is Boateng's teammate David Alaba, but the deal is not as close as that of the German defender with most top clubs in Europe interested in signing the Austrian defender.
