"This Is The Most Difficult Trophy I Ever Tried To Win" - Lionel Messi Reveals

Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi lifted his first international trophy after winning the Copa America final after a 1-0 win against Brazil back in July this year. It was his first international trophy in 28 years.

However, following Argentina 3-0 win over Bolivia on Thursday in their quest for World cup football next year, the Argentine revealed that winning the Copa America with Argentina was the "most difficult"triumph of his trophy-laden career.

Read what he said below after yesterday's game;

"Everything I won was important and beautiful, but this was the most difficult because I went through many things. It was knock after knock. Before I was bitter and now it was different from start to finish. My children sing Argentina songs all the time, they remember the final against Brazil and for me it's spectacular to see how they enjoy that."

The Argentine forward scored all three goals for his country in yesterday's triumph over Bolivia, surpassing Pele as the best international goalscorer in South American football history with 79 goals. Argentina will compete in next year's World Cup in Qatar, thanks to Messi.
