The winter transfer window is gradually approaching. With Marina's excellent transfer market experiences, the blues will hoping to seal some deals that will help in their squad's reinforcements. During the summer transfer window, Chelsea made huge effort to bring in players that will give Thomas Tuchel what he wants and in turn, produce the desired result. The blues tried to sign the likes of Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, Erling Haaland and so many others. But they eventually ended up signing Romelu Lukaku.
It has been revealed that Chelsea's defender, Antonio Rudiger have been promised to be paid three times his current wage at Chelsea by Bayern. The defender's contract is gradually running out and he might eventually decide to leave Stamford bridge this January if He fails to sign a new contract.
The lineup seen below shows how Tuchel's squad could possibly be reinforced if Marina completes some transfer deals this January.
Eduard Mendy will still be retaining his spot as the club's first choice goalkeeper. The shot stopper have really added a whole lot of support and rigidity for the blues' defense upon his arrival last season.
Tuchel makes use of a 3-man defence which will be consisting of Thiago Silva, Ceasar Azplicueta and Trevoh Chalobah. The truth of the matter is that Chelsea are now keeping tabs on Juventus' defender, Mattias De Light as the possible replacement for Antonio Rudiger.
The 3-4-2-1 formation system allows Tuchel to make use of a double pivot central midfielders in which one of them drops deeper than the other. Jorginho and N'golo Kante's midfield partnership is one of his best midfield combination. Tuchel will be hoping to see a fully fit N'golo Kante after the international break. The two fullbacks will be completing the midfield structure. Marcus Alonso and Reece James are the major occupants of the left and right fullback positions respectively.
Tuchel is yet to find his main starting front three, although Lukaku's position in that central farward position is non-negotiable but Mason Mount and Kai Havertz's brilliant combination have helped the Belgian settle real quick in the Premier league.
